The HCL AppScan app helps you import your vulnerability data into Splunk. This data includes applications, scans, and issues from HCL AppScan on Cloud (DAST, SAST, SCA, and IAST) and HCL AppScan 360° (DAST and SAST).

The app presents this information in graphical dashboards. This integration helps you efficiently identify, prioritize, and track vulnerabilities in your systems.

The HCL AppScan app includes the following key features:

  • View a graphical summary of the total imported issues count by Application name.
  • Filter imported issues by Application, Asset group name, Discovery method, CVSS, Severity, Status, Issue type, Date created (UTC), SCA language (SCA only), and Library (SCA only).
  • Split filtered data further by Application, Severity, and IssueType.
  • Review filtered data in a tabular format by selecting results from the ‘Total issues count by application’ graph.
  • Use pre-configured dashboards to see the following information:
  • Total number of issues across all applications (Current month)
  • Total number of scans across all applications (Current month)
  • Number of scans per discovery method across all applications (Last 1 year)
  • Number of issues per severity across all applications (Last 1 year)
