Details
Splunk Enterprise Security and Splunk Enterprise core provides Machine Learning capabilities powered by MLTK and DSDL. MLOps4Splunk provides a user-friendly way to show what ML content is available, how it performs, troubleshoot and overall provide a centralized view of how ML is used throughout the product both in ES and Splunk Enterprise core

MLOps4 Splunk app is providing few dashboards for discovering and troubleshooting your Splunk ML.

The ML Discovery dashboard provides:

  • All ML searches on the system
  • Status of ML searches
  • ML models used
  • Relationships between model and detection/search utilizing a pre-generated model
  • Metrics related to performance in both execution times (like search time) and events consumed or generated from ML searches or models
  • Error discovery and warnings

ML Investigator

Once we identified problem areas we might need to troubleshoot or monitor the performance of running ML. ML investigator view provides

  • Description of the ML capability and dependencies.
  • Checks on underlying data availability or configuration issues
  • Error view specific to the ML in question
