Overview

Introducing the "JSON to XML Converter" add-on for Splunk!
This add-on allows you to easily convert JSON data to XML format directly within Splunk. Simply pipe your JSON data into the "convertjsontoxml" command, and it will automatically generate the corresponding XML output.
The "JSON to XML Converter" add-on also includes additional options for greater flexibility. You can use the "output_file" option to write the XML output to a file, and the "exclude_tags" option to exclude certain XML tags from the output.
With the "JSON to XML Converter" add-on, you can now seamlessly transform your JSON data into XML format for further processing and analysis in Splunk.

Example:
index=myindex sourcetype="mysourcetype:json" | convertjsontoxml

Advance options:
index=myindex sourcetype="mysourcetype:json" | convertjsontoxml output_file="/tmp/output.xml" exclude_tags="tag1,tag2"

Example:
index=myindex sourcetype="mysourcetype:json" | convertjsontoxml

Advance options:
index=myindex sourcetype="mysourcetype:json" | convertjsontoxml output_file="/tmp/output.xml" exclude_tags="tag1,tag2"
