Overview
Details
ARTs stands for “Automation Result Triage system”. It is a Splunk application that is designed for helping engineers better track and triage automation test results with the following key features:

- Latest test results overview
Overview page will show you the overall information of a set of jobs with the several metrics.

- Test results stats trend
Trend page displays trendline for different categories of failures as well as other more detailed job failure information that user can drilldown to view more details.

- Test failures triage
Triage page is the core page in ARTs. User can find the details of failed case, such as stacktrace, status trend, etc, and also can add triage note.

- Different branch results compare
Branch comparison page is similar to Triage page, but focus to compare the results of two different jobs, not only one job.

- Shared global messages
If user want to inform others one critical issue, he/she can use global message to broadcast it.

Prerequisites


Assuming that you have installed and configured the Splunk(cluster) environment. Before you are going to install the app of ARTs, you need to complete the following two steps first.
1. Install the Splunk App for Jenkins
2. Install the Status Matrix Custom Viz
